ELEVATED

TIMELESS LIVING

Laken Elizabeth Interiors offers interior consulting, edesign and styling. Our vision is to provide clients with what they need to create timeless, elevated living spaces.

Interior design can be overthought or complicated, and we’re here to help. Our mission is to take away the stress or overwhelming feeling when it comes to interior design, so all that’s left is for you to enjoy the memories made within these spaces.

Project “HOMESTEAD”

Nestled on their family farm, our clients were in search for interior styling and details to add to their living room space. We wanted to incorporate earthy tones from the existing furnishings while adding more detail to this beautiful home. Adding a larger rug to the space and balancing photo frames on either side are just a few of the styling details added.

PROJECT “CHEERS”

This kitchen has undergone some changes throughout the years. From updated backsplash, to painted cupboards and now adding a beautiful entertaining bar space, it is becoming one of the favourite rooms to host in the home.

We wanted to create a space that was both functional and beautiful to the existing cupboards. We continued on the lower cupboards, and added reclaimed barn wood shelving, along with a butcher block countertop for the space. The textured white tile was too good not to continue as well. We used the same tile as the existing kitchen, but added a “little bit of spice” by creating a vertically stacked tile lay with white grout.

Would you ever guess this addition was an afterthought? No, neither did we!

Project “WHITE OPEN SPACES”

This bathroom upgrade has us swooning over the details. From the gorgeous stacked tile to the arched closet entry (with hidden vanity moment), to the beautiful aged door, we can’t pick a favourite!

To transform this bathroom, we removed an existing wall to enhance the size. The original vanity was solid and in great shape, so we upgraded the vanity top and hardware. Creating an arched entry to the closet was a no brainer. We wanted to incorporate an arch of some sort in this project and wow, we are sure glad we did. To maximize on functionality of the space, we created a vanity moment within the closet. Using this stunning wallpaper we were able to give a subtle, yet gorgeous accent to the space.

Can you not picture enjoying a bath in this freestanding tub, candle lit with a glass of your favourite bubbly?

ABOUT ME

Interior styling and design have always been a passion of mine. Looking back on my younger years, I was constantly re-arranging my bedroom, and picking out paint colours. Bless my mother for her patience with some of my choices. Throughout the years, my eye of design has grown and became more prominent after purchasing my first home. Being able to explore my interior style and renovate my home (with the help from my partner, Jack) has been such a rewarding experience.

I recently graduated from Conestoga College with a certificate in Interior Design. Completing this course has not only expanded my knowledge for design, but has also given me the confidence to embark on this business adventure with Laken Elizabeth Interiors.

I can’t wait for you to follow along.
